This all-wood variant of the venerable single-ply Cypress design gives you incredible stability and control while retaining resistance to splitting.  Following on the success of the BBC Fiddler, I offer the Ramin Cross -- so named for its cross-grained Ramin wood that I locate behind the outer Sapele skins.  Like the Fiddler, the heart and soul of this blade is its fat Cypress core that I cut from carefully-selected planks.  The new outer layers provide even more ball grab than the original design.
